WE'VE GRADUATED! :)

caught up with some good ol' friends this week. went back to kc with vivien to help miss soo with some P4 NE Camp at yishun primary on Tuesday and Saturday. rong gave me a call to meet. goshhh, it's been like YEARS since i last met her, i'll always remember how her flexible fingers gave me the ouch feeling. haha. we met mr karib, and she asked him "you're mr khatib?" my god. we couldnt help but laugh.

we had a long ride down to yishun that mdm chan was feeling all "sharity" to share her lifestory with us, vivien and I couldnt stop nudging each other. after the trip to yishun primary, I met the sjab mates in town. we reminisce the old times with public duty in the churches, how the committee needed drag each other out to do porch duty during assembly and our rank remaining stagnant as a corporal - yes, we're still dwelling over it. haha. well, be it good times or bad, it's nice that we're all still in contact :)

ice-skating with vivien and rina at kallang the next day. had quite a great first time except for the part we were all holding onto each other until vivien let go of my hand which left rina and me literally flung to the ground. we were actually quite steady till the speed was too fast for us balance. gosh, was hilariously embarassing! so i went home with both knees bruised. you'll never learn without a fall. yea right! haha.

tomorrow's the last and final paper i've ever got to take in tp.
(that's if i don't have to take supp paper)
we had more than one week to study but what's new.
always burning midnight oil at the last minute.

after BI exam at 6.30PM, we can enjoy the chinese new year, 
then start stressing over MP presentation again.

went back to the airport to visit my CAAS colleagues on thurs (:
probably the wrong time to go cus everyone was going for lunch or yoga class.
wanted to meet shuying earlier so we could visit T3, but we were both late!
so lunched at sakae with chris and rachel.
i really miss gymming and bumming around at CARC and shopping in transit!

was messaging shuying in the bus to talk about the someone she would definitely wanna see. aww man! fate it was, she was pointing to my favourite subway in the transit but my view went to someone in uniform instead. haha. she must have missed that him.

back to school on new year's eve
HOW PATHETIC is this holiday.
well, be glad i even have one.

PASSED!
and probably a longwinded and boring entry. haha. well, i'm starting to miss going for lessons, miss taking the different colour number tags, miss wearing the smelly guards and the nice instructors. haha. i realise lessons were a way i could bring myself away from work and destress though sometimes it does make me even more stress when i dont get through a lesson. but it was fun, really.

reached the driving centre at 7am but test started at only 9.30am and when it came to my turn it was already 10plus. the waiting time was so much longer than the test itself. just imagine there were 89 of us and i was 55th person. 

it was my turn, i sat on the bike and there was already a problem. the engine couldnt start! so had to kick start which was something i did once during lesson with difficulty. the instructor kept telling me to relax, kick start and throttle. after a few times, the engine finally started and before i could move off, engine stopped again! my godddd. the instructor told the other i am too kan chiong and the more i'm like that, the more i cannot do it. i was literally shaking, he said "signal and go" and helped me turn the signal on instead. damn paiseh, imagine so many people staring at you. 

circuit courses were okay except for e-brake. i thought i touched the line which was an immediate failure. mood was sad all the way on the road. what more it was raining, i was wet and the rain was affecting my view. and alvin saw my sulky face on the road when he was in the bus! omggg. haha. had the very sian mood and was irritated by pedestrians who treated the road like theirs. so i honked at them which was also a form of venting my anger. haha. and the tester was thereeeeee! i hated myself and thought it'll definitely be a failure. but guess it wasn't wrong since i wasn't marked down at the end. 

we waited in a room and they took damn long to announce the results making everyone panic and my heart was pumping like mad. testers came in one by one slowly calling out the person's number who failed. while waiting, the instructor kept talking about how many % passes over the years blah blah blah, kept asking how we're feeling and walked in and out, sometimes anyhow saying numbers which scares us. till they closed the door, we knew we passed and screamed for joy. all who passed had to say a pledge which sounded so similar to our country's pledge. 

while waiting to collect the result slip, the funny instructor gave me "the look" and he still think it's kelong, super kelong. haha. well, gotta thank them for being so patient and humorous all the time and fierce sometimes. haha (: YAY!

after having the comment that "i kelong" to be able to book my tp so soon, i have this very bad feeling. though i guess it was in a random teasing manner, i still don't have the confidence to get through fig of 8 in 11 secs, crank course in 6 secs, plank in more than 6 secs, slalom in less than 6 secs. god bless the road users tomorrow. if i really fail, i don't think i'll have the mood to retake again. oh well..

ME!

whenever i carry my helmet in the bag, my granny thinks i'm going for an exercise. HAHA. probably thinks it's a basketball or something. but exercising in jeans? i must be crazy.

exactly two more weeks to TP and i am not ready. the mistakes i made today are to be laughed at, which the instructor DID. so paiseh. but getting him is really nice, he's one of the instructor i always get. and he knows i know what to do but always forget, esp BLINDSPOT. rarrr. and i always feel like honking at inconsiderate drivers, but well, i'll be a courteous rider FOR NOW.
